The Wichita Falls Nighthawks did what no team has done in 2017; beat the Sioux Falls Storm. The Nighthawks knocked off the Storm 44-36 in a surprisingly defensive battle. RB/KR Tyler Williams proved to be an essential cog to the Nighthawks' plan all night as he combined for 226 total yards. Williams (5'7,175, Akron) contributed in a variety of different ways as he had seven kick returns for 139 yards, 19 rushes for 52 yards and four touchdowns, and four receptions for 35 yards. Three of Williams' four touchdown runs came in the first half and helped the Nighthawks build an insurmountable lead. Through the first eleven weeks of the season, Williams leads the IFL in all-purpose yards (1,489) and scoring (116 points). This is Williams second IFL Special Teams Player of the Week award this season. The Nighthawks host the Nebraska Danger in Week 12.
